Romeo is still up for adoption! He seems to have two personalities. When he is at my house he is great with company, loves my husband, great with the dogs, he even lets the girls steal his treats. He walks great on a leash past neighbors, neighbors dogs, cats, etc. he loves to be groomed. He loves to be held, sleep on the bed with you, he will sit in your lap all day or on top of your head. He will keep your face and neck clean as well. Romeo is a 2 year old pomskie. Pomeranian and American Eskimo. However, with his past foster she experienced guarding behavior whenever a man came in the house and he would nip at the shoes or ankles. Also, we were told he would growl and get snappy at strangers on a leash. I don’t really think it’s multiple personalities I think he just needs very firm boundaries from the beginning and any unwanted behavior has to be corrected immediately. Romeo responds very well to a water squirt bottle or the compressed air pet corrector. You don’t even need to use it, you can just show him the bottle.
