Her owner went into a nursing home and the husband was not able to care for her anymore. The vet they used for years took her in and surrendered her to our rescue from Tallahassee, FL. Sam is a 3 year old female and super sweet! She doesn’t like the vet too much but, is great in the house and good with other dogs. She has a skin issue that we are diagnosing. We have a thyroid check in and a skin scrape. She is already microchipped, up to date on shots and spayed. We just need to see if her fur loss is from thyroid, yeast/bacteria or a food allergy. She will be up for adoption once ready. She is available for a foster home now.
